The Mens Golf Team from Campbellsville University has been ranked 19th in the Golf World/Nike Preseason NAIA Coaches Poll for 2008-09.

Campbellsville, fresh off it's first-ever NAIA Region XI Tournament Championship and fourth all-time appearance in the NAIA National Tournament returns several key golfers from last year that justify the top 20 ranking.

Senior Scott Webb (Irvine, Kentucky),  senior Brandon Young (Elizabethtown, KY) and senior Casey Young (West Van Lear, Kentucky) all return after obtaining NAIA National Championship Tournament experience last season.

Mid-South Conference rival Lindsey Wilson was ranked 22nd in the poll.   This season the NAIA has eliminated the Regional format and conference champions will automatically advance to the National Tournament to be played in Davenport, Iowa.
