WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – For the second-straight year, a Campbellsville University student-athlete led all competitors in the Mid-South Conference Championships to earn MSC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year honors.

Christiana Harris, a sophomore from Georgetown, Ky., placed in the Top 5 in five events to score 37 of Campbellsville's 141 points to earn the conference's top individual award. She was also aided by 18 relay points to raise her Athlete of the Year total to 55 points. Last year, the award went to freshman Keisha Chiles, who won four MSC titles.

Harris was one of three Lady Tigers to claim a MSC title, as Campbellsville claimed first in five events and finished third as a team.

She won the MSC triple jump title with a mark of 11.31 meters and placed second in the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles, which were won by senior teammate Nathelie Zetrenne of Louisville, Ky. She also placed third in the javelin and fourth in high jump.

Both Harris and Zetrenne improved their times in the 100-meter hurdles, as Zetrenne dropped her time to 14.81 seconds and Harris qualified for the NAIA Championships with a B standard of 14.92, just .02 shy of an A standard.

Kelsey Feltner also claimed an individual conference title, winning the 100-meter dash in 12.52. The trio also teamed up with JaNaiqua Horne to win the 4x100-meter relay and teamed up with Lauren Little to finish second in the 4x200-meter relay.

Zetrenne followed Harris' lead with 26 points, Horne had 17 and Feltner had 15.

The team's other 46 points came from Lindsey Burd (6), Lauren Little (6), Casey Peach (5), Sarah Johnson (3) Jennifer Hatley (2), Mallory Vest (1), Emily Wesley (1) and three relays (22).

All first-place finishers were named All-MSC First Team.

Campbellsville had eight student-athletes receive Academic All-MSC honors, the second most in the conference: Hanako Abe, Hatley, Johnson, Kamika Joyner, Josie Lavey, Peach, Vest and Wesley. In order to receive the honor, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in academic standing and maintain a 3.25 GPA.

Several Lady Tigers will return to action next weekend at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championships in Rome, Ga.
