Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America committee, with 16 student-athletes being named to both the first and second teams.

Coach Kyle Caven has now had 14 student-athletes be named an NAIA All-American during his tenure — six girls and now eight men's honorees.

"Vlad and Alejandro are very much deserving of this honor," said Caven. "They led our team all year by their stellar play, but also played a major role in helping our young guys get acclimated to the collegiate tennis system."

Soriano led the Tigers with a 16-5 record in duals this season, while Ladygin went 14-6. Ladygin won the USTA-ITA Southeast Regional Championship in September and competed in the Small College National Championships. Both Soriano and Ladygin were named First Team All Mid-South Conference Conference.

National champion Georgia Gwinnett led all programs with six players spread across both All-America teams. Auburn Montgomery was second in players represented with five.

Chase Hodges of Georgia Gwinnett was named the 2016 NAIA Men's Tennis National Coach of the Year. His Grizzlies defeated Xavier, 5-2, on Saturday, May 21, to win their third-straight national championship in just Georgia Gwinnett's third season of NAIA postseason eligibility.
