Gailor, Miller, Quint and Scott earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Wednesday that 466 women's softball student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Softball Scholar-Athletes.
 
Campbellsville University has four Lady Tigers earn the honor – Rebecca Miller, Neely Quint, Brianna Scott, Morgan Gailor
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
 
Siena Heights and Culver-Stockton lead the way with nine individuals.
 
Campbellsville finished its season in the NAIA Opening Round Championship for the third straight season. The Lady Tigers tallied a 47-10 record and lost to Faulkner University in the finals. 
 
CU also won its eight MSC Regular Season title and fifth tournament championship in 2018.
