The indoor practice facility was opened in 2004 and renamed in the summer of 2017 by alumnus Ronnie Hord and his wife Laura. This state-of-the-ark facility allows players from all sports to have a quality practice on cold or rainy days. In 2004, astroturf was added to the 10,500 square feet facility, equipped with high ceilings, protective netting all around the walls, two drop down batting tunnels, nets to split up the facility, bathrooms, storage area, and is big enough to have modified inter-squad practices.

In the winter of 2012, the indoor facility was renovated and new flooring and lights were added. In the fall of 2015, CU added new turf to the floor and painted the walls.
