Box Score Audra Hockenberger continued her offensive hot streak Thursday, leading Campbellsville University with three goals and an assist as the Lady Tigers downed Cincinnati Christian University, 4-0.



Hockenberger, who has now scored six and assisted four of CU's last 13 goals, put the Lady Tigers on the board in the 24th minute off an assist from Jessica Ralph. She later distanced the lead to 2-0 off an assist from Cassie Yannelli with five minutes left in the first half.

In the second half, the freshman from Kingston Springs, Tenn., insured Campbellsville's win with an assist to Ralph in the 51st minute and by finishing off her hat trick in the 65th minute.

"Audra is starting to get used to the college game and is really playing well. She and Jessica Ralph play very well together. I just hope it gets contagious," CU head coach Thom Jones said.

Hockenberger, who had not scored in her first five games of the season, tallied a goal and assist in Campbellsville's first home win of the season Sept. 24 and then added two goals and two assists in a 6-0 shutout at St. Catharine College on Tuesday. She also scored the only goal in a 1-0 junior varsity game Sept. 25.

The win is the third consecutive for freshman goalkeeper Brandie Hagerman of Hartford, Ky. She had six saves in net. It also gives Campbellsville its first three-game win streak since winning three straight from Oct. 2 to Oct. 11 last season.

"I'm happy that we got another shutout. It's showing that our defense is doing a good job," Jones said. "We just need to keep the momentum up. We have a big, big conference game Tuesday."

Campbellsville (6-4, 2-1 MSC) hosts the University of the Cumberlands in a Mid-South Conference game Tuesday, Oct. 5 at Finley Stadium. Start time is 7 p.m.
