BOX SCORE/ PLAY-BY-PLAY

Marian University (4-1, 0-0 CRL) stepped up its play and Campbellsville (4-3, 0-1 MSC) took a step back in the second half. The Knights scored both of their goals in the final seven minutes to steal the win.

Aris Kuntz gave the Lady Tigers a 1-0 lead 19 minutes into the game, a lead which stood through halftime.

Claire Kelley knotted the game in the 83rd minute after getting behind the defense and after CU goalkeeper Amanda Howard made a risky move to come out from goal to attempt to get control of the ball.

But the Knights kept the pressure on the Campbellsville's defense and took the lead six minutes later. Olivia Annee took a shot just outside the 18-yard box and Howard was able to make the save but not control the ball. The rebound went right to the foot of Jenna Culley for the game-winner with 27 seconds left to play.

Marian goalkeeper Madeline Webber recorded eight saves in the win. Howard was able to stop six shots by the Knights.

Campbellsville led the total shot count, 17-12.
