MARIAN, Ind. – On the final day of the NCCAA Indoor Championships Campbellsville saw more success as they completed the indoor track season, finishing 15th.
Last season
PJ Randles was National Runner Up in the men's 60 meter hurdles, but this season
Paxton Wiley was able to earn his way by running into third place All-American honors. Wiley crossed the finish line in 8.49 seconds. He was .06 seconds off the NAIA B standard and was a whole .16 seconds ahead of fourth place.
In the men's triple jump
Christian Thurman ended his indoor season with a jump of 12.19 meters.
In the final events for the day
Johannesburg Boulware was able to pull out a 53.46 second finish in the men's 400 meter dash.
Brandon Battle and
Jaron Jackson finished their weekend after breaking the school record the other night in the men's 200 meter dash. Battle ran a 23.06 and crossed the tape in 23.75.
Campbellsville will now have four weeks to prepare before their first outdoor track meet of the year at Emory University in Georgia.
