MARIETTA, Ga. —After an eight-day layoff Lady Tiger soccer resumes regular season play on Saturday at Life University.
Kickoff between Campbellsville and Life will kickoff at 6 p.m. ET with video and stats available at the links above.
The Lady Tigers enter the weekend with a 3-9-1 record and are 1-1-1 inside Mid-South Conference play. Campbellsville is coming off a 4-0 victory over University of Pikeville on Friday, Oct. 6. The Lady Tigers are still looking for their first road win of the year, though, after starting 0-6-1.
Freshman
Rachel Blumfeldt scored two goals in the win over UPIKE and leads the Lady Tigers with seven on the year.
Life University, the MSC's newest full-time member, is in its second-year as a soccer program and enters with a 4-7 overall record. The Running Eagles also defeated UPIKE, 6-1, for their lone conference victory but lost to Shawnee State and University of the Cumberlands on Oct. 4 and 6, respectively.
Josie Davis leads the Running Eagles with nine goals, seven assists and 25 of the 68 Life University points on the year.
In goal, the Running Eagles have a pair of goalkeepers see major action. Julie Bernhardt has started in six games, while Pien van Kampen has started in five. The duo has allowed 39 goals on the year and recorded 75 saves.
