Lady Tiger soccer set to host No. 17 Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday night

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — With the schedule changes made on Tuesday morning, Lady Tiger soccer will now host No. 17 Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday night. 
 
Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson kickoff at 6 p.m. ET with coverage beginning at 5:45 on the CU Sports Network. Fans can watch at the link above. 
 
The Lady Tigers enter the week with a 5-3 record, while the Blue Raiders are 2-2-1 overall. Wednesday night's match opens Mid-South Conference play for both squads, as LWC has won six of the last eight regular season titles and seven of the last eight tournament crowns.
 

Series Facts:
  • Meeting for the 14th time with the Blue Raiders owning a 13-0 record.
  • LWC has out-scored CU, 66-3, in those 13 meetings.
  • The only players to score against LWC - Rachel McWillaims (2017), Mhairi Fyfe (2015) and Jessica Ralph (2013). 
  • Current CU assistant coach, Ivana Damnjanovic, scored and dished out an assist against CU in the 2016 matchup.
Tiger Clawz:
  • Lady Tiger soccer enters the week with its first losing streak under head coach Daniel Branley. CU lost 1-0 to Mount Vernon Nazarene and were shutout once again at home, 3-0, to Taylor University.
  • In all three loses this season, CU has been shutout each contest.
  • In addition, the Lady Tigers have out-shot their opponent in each loss. 
  • The two-straight shutouts come after the Lady Tigers scored nine goals in three games, 1-0 vs. Aquinas, 5-1 vs. Brescia, and 3-1 vs. Rio Grande. 
  • All three losses have come at home.
  • Tonight, CU starts Mid-South Conference play after going 4-2-1 inside
  • conference play last season and reaching the MSC semifinal last year. 
  • After Wednesday, the Lady Tigers will have two non-conference games remaining. CU travels to Ohio Christian on Saturday and hosts Cincinnati Christian in a make-up game on Oct. 27.
Scouting the Blue Raiders:
  • LWC has played one of the toughest schedules in the country, as the Blue Raiders have faced three ranked opponents in their five games.
  • Against ranked opponents, LWC is 0-2-1. The losses came to No. 1 North- western Ohio and No. 3 William Carey. The time was against No. 5 Martin Methodist.
  • In the five games, LWC has scored only seven goals and allowed five.
  • A trio of Blue Raiders have two goals each - Alicia Thoresen, Yvonne Ploeg and Sina Cavelti.
