CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The dual match between Campbellsville women's tennis and Asbury University went down to the wire with one singles match between CU's
Brooklyn Harris and AU's Luciana Iriarte yet to be completed as the team score was tied 4-4.
Harris won the match at the No. 5 spot in singles play over Iriarte with score of 7-6 and 6-4 to give the Lady Tigers the victory. CU needed four singles points after only earning one point in doubles play.
The doubles point came from the No. 1 team of
Brenda Aguilar and
Bolor Enkhbayar 8-4 over Kendall Jablonowski and Alejandra Diaz. Aguilar and Enkhbayar won their singles matches from the No. 1 and No. 2 spots as well as
Rebeca Scurt who won in the No. 4 spot over Jablonowski 6-3, 6-4 to make the score 4-3 in favor of CU.
Campbellsville will continue their home schedule this Saturday when they host Olivet Nazarene University at noon at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
