No. 9 Tigers roll past Grace Lancers to open home schedule, 8-1

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Home openers are always fun, especially when you're playing in sub-40-degree weather on the tennis courts. No. 9 Campbellsville had to overcome the cold temperatures today and took down Grace College, 8-1. 
 
The lone loss came at No. 1 singles as Will True got beat for the first time this season. But him teammates picked him up in a big way. In the other five singles matched, the Tigers outscored the Lancers, 60-13. 
 
The day started with three straight doubles wins. Then Campbellsville won five straight singles matches before Max Rozaz took down True.

The Tigers (5-0) are now scheduled to compete in the Middle Georgia State Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Cochran, Georgia. CU will face Middle Georgia State on Monday, March 4 and Loyola University on Tuesday, March 5.
