Marian rallies in last three singles matches to take down No. 25 Lady Tigers on Senior Day

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Senior day didn't go the way of Lady Tiger tennis as Campbellsville dropped to .500 on the year with a 5-4 loss to Marian University. 
 
The loss brings the record down to 8-8 overall on the year with two regular season matches left on the schedule. 
 
On Wednesday, the Lady Tigers got down early after doubles. The lone win came from Brenda Aguilar and Bolor Enkhbayar, 9-8, at No. 1 doubles. 
 
In singles, Aguilar and Enkhbayar gave the Lady Tigers a 3-2 lead before Rebeca Scurt extended it to 4-2 with a singles win at No. 3. 
 
But then Marian University won the final three singles matches. Alabina Zaganjor lost 6-1, 6-4, while Brooklyn Harris and Kourtnee Hayes also lost handing the Knights the victory. 
 
Campbellsville will now host University of the Cumberlands on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
