CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – It was a night for celebration at the Powell Athletic Center on Thursday as the Campbellsville University Athletic Department hosted the first ever Awards Night to honor the 2018-19 seasons.
The ceremony included the announcements of 10 awards winners, given out to qualifying nominees within the 29 CU athletic programs and the single team award in the Team Servant Leadership Award.
Here are the winners of the 11 total awards:
Benji Kelly Male Athlete of the Year – Hagen Tyler (Men's Basketball)
Big Maroon Club Female Athlete of the Year – Savannah Gregory (Women's Basketball & Women's Track and Field)
Big Maroon Club Male Freshman of the Year – Jason Camacho (Men's Volleyball)
Big Maroon Club Female Freshman of the Year – Mia Rodriguez (Women's Cross Country & Women's Wrestling)
Richard RoBards Moment of the Year – Nick Ratliff (Bass Fishing)
Campbellsville University Mr. Tiger Award – Corbin Harris (Men's Cross Country & Men's Track and Field)
Campbellsville University Miss Lady Tiger Award – Madison Kaiser (Women's Basketball & Women's Track and Field)
Ron Finley Coach of the Year – Ginger High Colvin (Women's Basketball)
Saloma Baptist Church Team Servant Leadership Award – Men's & Women's Swimming
Alumni Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year – Corbin Harris (Men's Cross Country & Men's Track and Field)
Don Bishop Champion of Character – Corbin Harris (Men's Cross Country & Men's Track and Field)
Senior men's cross country and track and field distance runner
Corbin Harris came away with the most awards as an individual, earning three in the Mr. Tiger Award, Alumni Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Champion of Character.
Lady Tiger basketball has the most unique winners of the night as Savannah Gregory won Female Athlete of the Year, Madison Kaiser won Miss Lady Tiger, and
Ginger High Colvin won Coach of the Year.
