Alex Adams earns first Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year honor for the 2021 season

BOWLING GREEN, KY – In just his third season as the head coach, Alex Adams was named the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year for the 2021 season.
 
Adams team this year has made a complete turnaround from the 2020 season. So far this year the team has a record of 13-4 and has eclipsed the highest ranking in program history at #13 in the NAIA Top 25 Polls.
 
This season, Adams team has been ranked in the top 10 in every statistical category. They are ranked in the top five for shots, shot percentage, shots on goal, shots per game, shots on goal percentage, goals scored, and corner kicks.
 
Adams has brought new life to Finley Stadium for Lady Tiger Soccer with large amounts of support at home being ranked second in the country for home attendance. 
 
Adams team has defeated multiple NAIA Top 25 teams during the course of the year. At the start of conference play, the team defeated University of the Cumberlands who was ranked 6th at the time 2-1. 
 
The most exciting win of the season came late in the conference season after coming back from a 2-0 deficit against the 18th ranked Cumberland University Phoenix to win 3-2.
