Lady Tigers hit the road for matchup with Shawnee State Tuesday afternoon

 
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University women's soccer team make the trip to Portsmouth, Ohio to face Shawnee State University in what will be their 7th outing this season. The Lady Tigers kick-off at 1 p.m. ET as they look to bounce back to winning ways following a tough overtime loss to Lindsey Wilson last Friday night.
 
ATTENDANCE AND BROADCAST INFORMATION 
  • No visiting fans are permitted to attend the game at Shawnee State but home fans will be allowed up to 120 people.
  • The game will be available for viewing via the Shawnee Sports Network at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/shawneest/
 
LADY TIGER NOTES 
  • Campbellsville fell short of a victory in their last game dropping 2-1 to Lindsey Wilson in a matchup that would take overtime to be decided.
  • In that game Lady Tigers midfielder, Abigail Proctor opened the scoring early on at the 4:39 mark recording her first for the season. 
  • The Blue Raiders equalized at 72:07 before scoring the game-winning goal in overtime at the 94:50 mark.
  • Forward, Rebecca Lilley, netted her first goal of the season against Life University in CU's 1-0 win last Tuesday as she looks to get on the scoresheet once again. 
  • Campbellsville have yet to record a win on the road this season with their only road game coming against University of the Cumberlands, but the Lady Tigers hold two wins away from Campbellsville in their NCCAA Tournament victories back in November.
 
SCOUTING SHAWNEE STATE 
  • Shawnee State are currently 5-1 for the season and 2-1 in conference play.
  • Their only loss came in a 2-1 home loss to Lindsey Wilson in Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon. 
  • Sophomore, Paige Alford leads the Bears in scoring this season with five goals in the six games that she has played.
  • Goalkeeper Shelbi Richie is averaging over one goal allowed per game at 1.6 as she's played in all but one of the Bears' games this season.
 
LOOKING AHEAD 
  • The Tiger's next match is away at Thomas More University on Mar. 7, before returning home for three-straight games.
