Big Maroon Club Golf Scramble set to tee off Monday May 9th

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – The Big Maroon Club Golf Scramble is set to take place on Monday May 9th, 2022 at the Campbellsville Country Club.
 
Registration for the 21st annual Campbellsville University Big Maroon Club Golf Scramble is now open. There will be a morning flight and an afternoon flight.  You can reserve your spot for the timeframe that works best for you.
 
Registration is open to groups of four or individuals for the four-person event. The cost for an individual is $100 or $400 for a foursome team. Tax-deductible Hole Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $300.

The morning flight will begin with registration and grab and go breakfast items for the morning flight.  Registration opens at 7:15 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.  Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the round.  The afternoon flight will begin with registration and lunch beginning at Noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. 
 
The cost of registration covers the green fee, cart rental, golf balls, tees, and Big Maroon Club membership for 2022-2023.  A tax deduction receipt of $50 will also be given. 
 
In addition to team prizes, golfers have a chance to win the closest to the pin award and straightest drive. A hole-in-one will win new car depending on the hole. Team awards will be based on gross scores and given to the team with the lowest score, the team with the score 1/3 down from lowest, the team 2/3 down from the lowest and the score next to last. 
 
Format for the day is a four-person scramble, where everyone hits a tee shot. The "Captain's Choice" of the next shot puts all members hitting from the same spot. 
 
Proceeds from the tournament go to the Big Maroon Club, which is the support organization of Campbellsville University athletics. Campbellsville University currently fields 32 varsity programs serving approximately 900 student-athletes.
