Lady Tigers have their hands raised in first home dual of the season against Lourdes

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The #4 Lady Tigers hosted (RV) Lourdes University at their home facility Tuesday evening. Campbellsville reigned victoriously in 11 of the 12 matchups, resulting in a 41-6 team victory. 

Notably, #19 Jacqueline Ghent defeated foe Maria Hoffman in a 0:49 fall. Next up, #4 Angela Vitiritti shut out her opponent with a technical fall (13-0 1:58). Fellow Lady Tiger Juliana Baugher conquered #13 Julia Padilla in a 10-2 decision. 

After Lourdes opted for their second forfeit in the 143-pound weight class, #4 Kendra Thompson went to war with her opponent and she earned the 4-0 decision. #5 Liliana Vergara solidified her win over Lourdes's Bailey Hackett in a 11 second pin, her quickest of the season. 

The Lady Tigers will return to their home mat to host the University of the Cumberlands. The dual will be on Friday, February 3rd.
