CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – The Tiger's second NAIA top-20 matchup of the week favored the Patriots on senior night 27-18.
Izaeah Beavers began the match for Campbellsville at 125 lbs. He was in an early deficit in the match and worked his way back with back-to-back takedowns. His opponent Austin Franco was able to seal the win over Beavers in the third period of the match with a (10-7 Dec.).
Troy Kennedy fell to Matteo Vargo in a (10-1 MD) after falling behind early in the match.
Campbellsville earned their first points of the match in the middle weight classes. They won four out of the final five weight classes.
Shad Slone got the points going for the Tigers in a big way. Slone earned a (16-1 TF) over Charlie Friedenreich with a dominant performance.
Brice Parks was the next Tiger to earn a victory. Parks had his work cut out for him that went the full seven minutes to win in a (4-3 Dec.) over TJ Huber.
Kiernan Sherwood picked up the early win at the (4:11) mark in the second period over Thomas Ketchen to make the score 27-14 at this point in the match.
Jaden Sonner finished things up for Campbellsville on the evening and held Seth Whitlock down the entire second period during his matchup. Sonner went on to win in a (9-1 MD).

The Tigers have one final regular season match before the Mid-South Conference Championships on February 16th in Bowling Green, KY. They will head to Midway University for an MSC Dual on Thursday, February 2nd.
