PENSACOLA, Fl.- The #4 Lady Tigers took the road to battle the University of California Merced Bobcats on Monday night for the NAIA Championship Round of 16. Unable to make it to the scoreboard, Campbellsville lost the game, 3-0.
In the opening minutes of the contest, the Bobcats scored the first goal of the game. Amelie Matheis, Momo Chogyoji, and Paula Sanabria each attempted to put the Lady Tigers on the scoreboard, but UC Merced's goalie saved their shots. Halfway through the half, the Bobcats scored another goal, closing the half on the lead, 2-0.
Much like the first, halfway through the second half, UC Merced scored their third goal, amplifying Campbellsville's deficit on the scoreboard. Although the Lady Tigers attempted to retaliate, they did not manage to score before the end of the game, closing the night with a loss, 3-0.

- Despite losing to the Bobcats, Campbellsville surpassed UC Merced in most statistical categories of the game: shots (17-7), shots on goal (6-3), and corners (11-2).
- Chogyoji led the Lady Tigers with six shots and two shots on goal, followed by Sanabria, Merel Houweling, and Bethin Boyle with two shots each.
- Tonight's match-up was Campbellsville's first game against UC Merced.
