CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The #4 Tigers hosted the #5 Bethel University Wildcats on Friday for the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals. Despite one own goal in favor of Bethel, Campbellsville dominated the field with three more goals to propel them to victory and move on to the MSC Tournament semifinals, 3-1.

- Alejandra Rocha led the Tigers with two goals, four shots, and three shots on goal. Amelie Matheis followed with one goal, two shots, and two shots on goal.

- Today's victory is Campbellsville's third consecutive win against Bethel.
- The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to Lebanon, Tennessee, to battle the Cumberland University Phoenix for the Mid-South Conference semifinals.
Campbellsville earned an early lead with a goal by Alejandra Rocha within the first 15 minutes of the game, assisted by Wilma Gidlof. Fiona Jolly, Oddny Helgadottir, and Julia Ogden each collected shots for Campbellsville, saved by the Wildcats' goalie. Although Bethel also attempted to score with shots of their own, they did not manage to score before the end of the half, trailing the Tigers, 1-0.
Both teams entered the second half with a lot of offensive action, attempting several shots to claw their way back into the lead. Halfway through the second half, Amelie Matheis scored Campbellsville's second goal, extending their upper hand over Bethel. With an own goal in the Wildcats' favor, Bethel made their way to the scoreboard, coming closer to the Tigers' lead. However, with less than one minute left on the clock, Rocha struck again with another goal assisted by Bethin Boyle, closing the game with a victory to move on to the MSC semifinals, 3-1.
