LIMA, Ohio.- The #18 Tigers took the road to battle the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers. Despite their valiant efforts to score, the Tigers came short to the Racers, 2-0.

- Today's game is Campbellsville's second-ever game against Northwestern Ohio, and the Tigers' first loss against the Racers after their 2-1 victory in last year's NAIA Championship Round of 16.

Halfway through the first half, Northwestern Ohio scored the first goal of the match, earning an early lead over Campbellsville. Molly Matcalfe collected a shot, but did not manage to put the Tigers on the scoreboard, closing the half trailing, 1-0.
The Racers' defense prevented the Tigers from coming close to scoring, limiting their opportunities to collect any shots. As the second half developed, Northwestern Ohio scored another goal to extend its lead. Amelie Matheis collected a shot with ten minutes left on the clock, but Campbellsville did not manage to catch up with the Racers before the end of the game, falling 2-0.
