CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The (RV) Tigers hosted the (RV) Lindsey Wilson University Blue Raiders on Wednesday night for this year's Battle of Highway 55. After a scoreless match for most of the night, Lindsey Wilson managed to score with less than 20 minutes left on the clock, resulting in a Campbellsville defeat, 1-0.

- Bethin Boyle led Campbellsville with four shots and three shots on goal, followed by Alejandra Rocha with two goals and one shot on goal.
- Goalie Milly Shakespeare collected six saves throughout the match.
- Despite falling to the Blue Raiders, the Tigers surpassed them in corners (4-3) and saves (6-5).
- Tonight's game is Campbellsville's first loss against Lindsey Wilson since 2021.
- The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to McKenzie, Tennessee, to battle the Bethel University Wildcats on Tuesday, September 30, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
The Blue Raiders came into the game with strong offensive forces, collecting shots and corner kicks. The Tigers quickly retaliated with back-to-back shots from Sandra Steen, Bethin Boyle, and Mariangela Meneses. At the half, both teams were yet to score, and the game remained at zero.
Boyle and Molly Metcalfe came into the game with avid shots, all unsuccessful in getting Campbellsville on the scoreboard. In the 77th minute, Lindsey Wilson scored the first goal of the contest, taking the lead. Although the Tigers attempted to strike back, the time on the clock ran out before they could climb their way to the scoreboard. At the end of the night, Campbellsville lost the game, 1-0.
