Crewe-Brown named Tigers' Head Swimming Coach

| By:
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University has named Annissa Crewe-Brown as the new head coach of the Tiger swimming program, the Athletics Department announced Monday.

"We are excited to welcome our new Head Swimming Coach, Annissa Crewe-Brown, to the Campbellsville University family," Athletic Director Adam Preston shared. "Throughout this process, we were looking for a leader who is committed to developing champions in the pool, in the classroom, and in their faith. We believe we have found that person, and I look forward to seeing the impact Coach Crewe-Brown will have on the lives of our student-athletes and the continued growth of our swim program."

Crewe-Brown transitions to Campbellsville from Mid-South Conference rival Lindsey Wilson University, where she served as the volunteer assistant swim coach since August 2023. During her tenure on the deck in Columbia, she assisted with daily program operations and travel logistics for a roster of more than 30 athletes. Her efforts earned her recognition as the 2025 Mid-South Conference Women's Swimming Assistant Coach of the Year.

Prior to coaching, Crewe-Brown built a decorated competitive career as a student-athlete for the Blue Raiders from 2019 to 2023. She is a three-time NAIA All-American and a six-time CSCAA All-American. In 2021, she was named Lindsey Wilson's Most Dedicated Swimmer.

Crewe-Brown also maintained a strong academic profile, earning three NAIA Scholar Athlete selections and three CSCAA Scholar All-American honors. She graduated magna cum laude in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychophysiology and a minor in chemistry. She later earned a Master of Business Administration in General Management from Lindsey Wilson in July 2024.

In addition to her pool credentials, Crewe-Brown brings significant experience in higher education and administration to the Tiger athletic department. Since August 2023, she has served as Lindsey Wilson's Director of Career Services and worked as an adjunct instructor of business communications. She also previously served as an aquatics programming and risk management intern, where she managed lifeguard staffing and coordinated community water safety events.
