COLUMBIA, Ky. – Campbellsville University men's golf captured the Blue Raider Fall Invitational by one stroke, while the women's team secured runner-up honors during the 54-hole tournament Monday and Tuesday at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

• The Campbellsville men finished at 6-under par, edging host Lindsey Wilson by one stroke for the team championship. The Tigers led the eight-team field after an opening 6-under round, followed with a 3-under second round, and protected the lead with a 3-over final round.
• Carson Childress earned medalist honors at 7-under, giving Campbellsville both the men's team and individual championships.
• Childress and Javier Anez each placed inside the top 10, with Anez tying for seventh at 1-under after opening with a 3-under round.
• Corentin Hue supplied Campbellsville's lowest individual round of the tournament with a 6-under second round, moving into contention before finishing tied for 13th at 2-over.
• Campbellsville's men's B team was also under par through two rounds, recording a 2-over opening round and a 2-under second round before finishing seventh at 17-over.
• The Campbellsville women placed second at 83-over, finishing 11 strokes ahead of third-place Tennessee Wesleyan.
• Conleigh Wilson led the Tiger women in ninth place at 14-over, posting rounds of 3-over, 7-over, and 4-over. She was one of four Campbellsville golfers inside the top 16.

The Campbellsville men established themselves atop the leaderboard with an opening round of 6-under. Anez contributed a 3-under round, Childress also opened at 3-under, and the Tigers ended the round one stroke ahead of Lindsey Wilson and Indiana Tech, which each shot 7-under.

Campbellsville strengthened its position during the second round by combining for a 3-under score. Hue drove the Tigers' effort with a 6-under round, while Childress added a 2-under performance and Anez recorded an even-par round. Campbellsville entered the final round at 9-under, three strokes ahead of Lindsey Wilson and two strokes in front of Rio Grande.

The Tigers closed with a 3-over team round to finish the tournament at 6-under. Lindsey Wilson recorded a 1-over final round but came up one stroke short at 5-under, while its B team placed third at 3-under. Rio Grande finished fourth at 1-under, and Indiana Tech rounded out the top five at 4-over.

Childress completed the tournament at 7-under to claim the individual title. Anez tied for seventh at 1-under after rounds of 3-under, even par, and 2-over, while Hue tied for 13th at 2-over after following an opening 3-over round with his 6-under second round and a closing 5-over. Carson Beckham tied for 22nd at 4-over, and Rasmus Kivilla tied for 33rd at 10-over.

On the women's side, Campbellsville opened with a 22-over team round. Wilson paced the Tigers at 3-over, Hallie Jo Simpson followed at 4-over, Kennedy Daughtry carded a 6-over round, and Tinsley Neagle completed the counting scores at 9-over. The Tigers entered the second round behind Lindsey Wilson but ahead of the remainder of the five-team field.

Campbellsville posted a 32-over score in the second round. Wilson shot 7-over, Simpson and Briley Choate each recorded an 8-over round, and Neagle added a 9-over score. The Tigers then closed with a 29-over round, receiving matching 7-over efforts from Neagle and Daughtry, a 4-over round from Wilson, and an 11-over score from Simpson.

Wilson finished ninth at 14-over to lead Campbellsville individually. Simpson placed 13th at 23-over, Neagle finished 14th at 25-over, and Daughtry was 16th at 28-over. Choate completed the Tiger lineup in 18th at 33-over.

Campbellsville's women concluded the tournament at 83-over, 11 strokes clear of Tennessee Wesleyan in third. Lindsey Wilson won the women's championship at 6-under.
