Career Record at CU: 45-16

CU Record Book: Josh Ashbrook enters the 2012 NAIA National Tournament as one of the Top 8 wrestlers all-time in receiving national rankings at Campbellsville University, having been ranked in 12 polls through his career.

2011-12: As a redshirt junior, Ashbrook claimed the NAIA East Region title Feb. 18 to earn a No. 1 seed at 174 pounds in the NAIA National Tournament. He carries a 22-6 record into the national tournament. He finished runner-up in the Mid-South Conference Tournament and was also named the MSC Champion of Character. He was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and MSC Academic All-Conference selection.

2010-11: As a redshirt sophomore, Ashbrook won the Mid-South Conference title at 174 pounds and finished the season with a 23-10 record at the NAIA National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Ashbrook finished in the Top 12 but fell short of the NAIA All-America round. He was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and MSC Academic All-Conference selection.


2009-10: During his sophomore year, Ashbrook was forced to redshirt after an injury. He was named a MSC Academic All-Conference selection.

2008-09:

High School: As a four-year wrestler at Harrison County High School, Ashbrook compiled a 188-15 career record and received All-America Status. He was also named an All-American in middle school. Ashbrook was a four-time Kentucky state placer, finishing eighth, third, second and third in his four seasons.

Personal: He is the son of Greg and Amy Ashbrook. In addition to wrestling, he is a volunteer with the Tiger Youth Wrestling program and Green Minds environmental awareness group.
