CU RECORD BOOK: Allen Scruggs ranks in the Top 10 for most career wins (89), career pins (14) and major decisions (8). He is currently seventh on CU's all-time wins list and can finish his career as high as sixth.

2012-13: Wrestling up at 197 pounds, Scruggs carries a 20-5 record into the NAIA National Tournament ... Ranked as high as No. 2 in the NAIA ... Finished runner-up in the NAIA East Region Tournament ... All-MSC Honorable Mention ... Competed in four tournaments, posting a 10-3 record ... Went 10-2 in duals action.

2011-12: In his third season at CU, Scruggs posted his most impressive year yet, collecting an 22-7 record ... Finished the season runner-up in the NAIA National Tournament at 184 pounds to be named an NAIA All-American for the first time .... Finished second in the Mid-South Conference Tournament to be named All-MSC Honorable Mention ... Won the NAIA East Region Qualifying Tournament to enter the NAIA National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa as a No. 1 seed ... Named the MSC Wrestler of the Week Jan. 9.

2010-11: As a sophomore, Scruggs posted a 26-7 record for the Tigers and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he went 2-2.

2009-10: During his freshman season, Scruggs was 21-10 and qualifed for his first NAIA National Tournament in Oklahoma City.

HIGH SCHOOL: As a four-year wrestler at Valdosta High School, Scruggs posted a record of 182-45. He was named the wrestling team's MVP Freshman and MVP Senior. He was a two-time region runner-up at 189 pounds and was a two-time region champion at 215 pounds. He placed in the Georgia state tournament once at 189 pounds and won the 2009 Georgia state title at 215 pounds. He also played football for Valdosta, being named the MVP Offensive Player one season.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Tammy Brown and Isaiah Scruggs, Sr. In addition to wrestling, he is a member of the CU Gospel Choir, is majoring in sports management and loves to cook.
