THIS SEASON AT CU: Markie is entering her senior season at Campbellsville.

2016: Smith started in 59 games for the Lady Tigers. She posted a batting average of .268 in her 147 plate apperances. She had a slugging percentage of .458 with 6 home runs and 7 doubles. 

2015: Played in 37 games, starting 33 ... batted .320 ... 34 RBIs ... 9 home runs.

2014: Played in 37 games, starting 33 ... batted .345 ... 12 RBIs ... 2 home runs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Smith attended Muhlenberg County where she played for four years. During her senior season ... recorded a batting average of .500, 10 home runs, and 31 RBIs ... also received honors for All-Acadmic All-State 2010-2013 ... Team MVP 2011-2013 ... All-Area 2012-2013 ... Silver Slugger Award 2013 ... All-District team 2012-2103 ... 3rd Region Tournament Team 2012-2013 ... RBI Award 2012 ... District Champs 2010-2013 ... semi-finals in region 2010-2013. Smith played on the East-West Kentcky All-Stars in 2013 ... Kentucky-Tennessee All-star game 2013 ... was the Messenger-Inquirer Player of the Year in 2013. Smith broke the single-season home runs record for both boys and girls teams at Muhlenberg County with 12 as a junior in 2012 and finished her MCHS career with 32 home runs.
