Campbellsville University Athletics

This Season at CU:  Cody Steiner finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in the NAIA at 125 pounds after finishing runner-up in the NAIA East Region. He enters the NAIA National Championships with a 22-4 record.

2012-2013:  Originally signed with Colorado School of Mines but left early in the fall semester. He transfered to Campbellsville in January 2013 and redshirted.

High School:  Steiner is a four-time state qualifier and is Waynesville's only three-time state placer, serving as a team captain each of his last three years. During his career, he collected 142 wins, four Southwestern Buckeye League championships and was runner-up in the state his junior season at 112 pounds. He finished fourth in the state as a sophomore (103 pounds) and third as a senior (120 pounds) in 2012.

Personal:  Born July 18, 1993 ... Majoring in computer information systems ... Son of Greg and Lisa Steiner ... In middle school, he wrestled for Prodigy national team ... Maintains a 4.0 through high school and college ... Has volunteered his time at a Christian horse camp.
