Biography

2017 (Junior) : Hailey finished her junior season for the Tigers.

2016 (sophomore): Szpila started in 55 games for the Lady Tigers and finished with a batting average of .293 with 45 RBI. She had six home runs and seven doubles.

2015 (freshman): Szpila appeared in 49 games for the Lady Tigers, she hit .237 with seven home runs and led the team in walks with 29.

High School: Played softball at Bullitt Central High School where she played eight years with a career .427 batting average. She was a member of the East-West All Stars ... was All District and All Region and the state record holder for consecutive home runs (5) and second in the state for RBIs ... She was featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" in 2013.

Personal: Majoring in Psychology with a minor in sociology and is the daughter of Theresa Szpila.
