CU RECORD BOOK: Conor Young moved to second-place on the Tigers' all-time wins list this season with 104 wins entering the NAIA Tournament ... Currently holds the career record for most tech falls (12) and is tied for the career record of most major decisions (18) ... Second on the career list in pins (41) ... His 32 wins as a junior in 2011-12 are the fourth most in a single-season in program history ... Appears three times on the single-season Top 10 list for most pins with 13 as a freshman in 2009-10, eight as a sophomore and 10 as a junior ... In 2011-12, he set the record for most single-season tech falls (5).

2012-13: Enters the 2013 NAIA Tournament with a 25-4 record ...  Repeated as NAIA East Region champion at 157 pounds ... Finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in the NAIA ... Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference selection.

2011-12: In his third season at Campbellsville, Young became the eighth CU Tiger to win 30 matches in a season, posting an overall record of 32-6  ... He placed fifth in the NAIA Tournament at 157 pounds ...  He was named the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week three times during the season ... Won the NAIA East Region Title ... Finished the regular season ranked No. 2 in the NAIA ... Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference selection.

2010-11: As a sophomore, Young posted a 22-13 record on his way to the NAIA National Tournament. He was a Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference selection.

2009-10: Young was named Campbellsville's Freshman of the Year in 2010 after posting a 25-18 record and qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

HIGH SCHOOL: As a four-year wrestler at Rome High School, Young qualified for three Georgia State Tournaments. He placed third as a junior in 2008 and won a state title his senior year of 2009. He was a two-time team captain and posted a 103-25 career record. He was a five-sport letterman in high school for football, soccer, co-ed cheerleading, track and wrestling.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Ross and Ellen Young. All three of his siblings are currently high school or college student-athletes. In addition to wrestling, Young is a member of Sigma Zeta, Green Minds environmental awareness club and volunteers with the Tiger Youth Wrestling Club.
