Entering her fourth season as Head Coach and seventh year overall with Campbellsville University, Laura Day has been a driving force behind the Tiger Dance Team's competitive success. A two-time Campbellsville University graduate with deep roots in the community, Day was instrumental in the team's 2020 Mid-South Conference Championship and 2021 Runner-Up finish as an assistant coach. Her leadership extends throughout the local area, where she has also developed championship-winning dance programs at both Taylor County High School and Middle School.

Since taking the helm, Day has continued to elevate the program. During the team's inaugural 2024-25 season in the American Conference, she coached Shalyn Taylor to two Conference Performer of the Week awards and led the Tigers to a fourth-place finish at the prestigious DTU Collegiate Classic.

Day's commitment to Campbellsville University is extensive. Before transitioning to coaching full-time, she served the university for six years in the admissions office, rising from an Admissions Counselor in 2015 to the Director of On-Campus Enrollment, a role she held from 2019 to 2021.

Her expertise is rooted in a lifetime of passion for the art form. A former competitive dancer at All-Starz Dance Academy and a member of the Franklin-Simpson High School Dance Team, Day also has experience teaching and choreographing for dancers of all ages, including for multiple musical theater productions.

A Campbellsville resident, Day and her husband, Blake, are active members of the local community, where she is the owner of The White Orchid Florist.
