Dr. CJ Moritz graduated from East Tennessee State University in May 2024 with a Doctoral Degree in Global Sport Leadership. In 2019, he graduated from Campbellsville University with a Master's Degree in Sports Management, and in 2017, with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Communications/Emphasis on Audio Production from Asbury University.
Dr. Moritz was hired in May 2019 as the first Esports coach at Campbellsville University and built the Esports program from the ground up. Dr. Moritz has over 15 years of coaching experience. As Director and Head Coach, he has coached fourteen Esports titles: Apex Legend, Chess, FIFA, Guilty Gear, League of Legends, Mario Kart, Overwatch, Pokémon: VGC, TCG, Unite; Rocket League, Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Valorant. Campbellsville Esports has athletes from 5 continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
