Anderson has been bowling for close to 30 years. He was an assistant coach at Lindsey Wilson College under Coach Brandon Burns for almost three years and, most recently, had been the Head Coach of Boys Bowling at Barren County High School.

Anderson was born and raised in Glasgow, Kentucky and is married with two children.
