Entering 2023-24: 3rd year at Campbellsville
Grove comes to Campbellsville after a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at Whitworth University where she will complete her masters in August with a degree in administration and leadership. During her time with the Pirates, she oversaw working with the distance athletes and constructing workouts for the team.
Â
As an athlete she accomplished numerous accolades and titles across the sport of cross country and track when she attended Concordia University in Nebraska where she finished undergraduate school in 2019. She ran a lifetime best of 18:27 in the 5,000-meter distance on the course. In her senior campaign she placed fourth at the conference championships to qualify her for the 2018 NAIA Championships.
Â
On the track, Grove was a two-time conference champion. On the indoor track she was the 3,000-meter champion in 2018 while also becoming the 10,000-meter champion on the outdoor track in the spring. Â
Â
Grove still holds a school record at Concordia with the record in the half marathon which stands at 1:25.04. She graduated majoring in exercise science and a minor in sport psychology. Taylor kept the term of student-athlete to heart as she was named USTFCCCA Academic All-American in 2018 as well as earning NAIA Scholar Athlete honors in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Â
Since graduating she has continued her success with qualifying for the 2022 Boston Marathon. She ran her Boston qualifier at the Governor's Cup Marathon running a time of 3:11.
