Sara Meyer, a recent graduate from University of Tulsa and the University of Colorado, was hired in the summer of 2019 and enters her first year at Campbellsville University.
 
While at Tulsa, Meyer earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and graduated in May 2017. In addition, she was fortunate to spend a spring semester studying abroad at the University College Dublin in Ireland. Meyer also worked with the University of Tulsa as a student in the athletic training department. During that time, she worked with football, soccer, track & field, baseball, tennis and volleyball.
 
After her time at Tulsa, Meyer went back home to the mid-west to work on her Master of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She graduated from Colorado in May 2019 after working as a graduate assistant at Colorado State University-Pueblo. During that experience, Meyer worked with football, soccer, lacrosse and track & field

An Albuquerque, N.M. native, Meyer has a wealth of experience in the medical field. She worked as an intern at Presbyterian Hospital in the summer of 2013, was a physical therapy intern at Presbyterian in the summer of 2016 and also spent time at the Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the summer of 2016.

After her time in her home state of New Mexico, Meyer then made the transition to the state of Colorado. Since 2018, she has worked as a certified athletic trainer at Centura Hospital in Colorado Springs, The Geneva Foundation at the Air Force Academy, Event Medical Specialist, and with GameDay Athletic Trainers in Denver. 
 
While at the Air Force Academy, Meyer gained valuable experience with baseline concussion testing for incoming Cadets and utilized the Scat 5 and Weschler Test of Adult Reading for an injury surveillance system and research data. 
 
With GameDay Athletic Trainers, Meyer expanded her coverage to Rugby Colorado, USA Volleyball and Vail Lacrosse.
