Casey Young has returned to his alma mater and is entering his fourth year as a part of the Tiger golf coaching staff. He was hired with head coach Jim Ward on Aug. 21, 2015.

Along with Coach Ward, Young has been steadily improving the quality of the men's golf program at CU, culminating in the 2019 Mid-South Conference runner-up finish at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Young played for Campbellsville from 2006-2009 and helped lead the Tigers to its only Top 15 ranking in history. Young worked his way into the Top 5 for CU his freshman year and was a mainstay there for the rest of his career. The Tigers won the MSC championship in 2006, finished second in 2007 and won again in 2008, qualifying for the NAIA Tournament.

He is now teaching social studies in the ninth-12th
grades at Taylor County High School, while doubling as the girls head coach for the past six years.  Young also coached the boy's team for his first three years at TCHS.

Young's wife, Cheris, is also a Campbellsville alum and played for the Lady Tigers from 2007-2010. They both reside in Campbellsville.
