Rick Davis

Entering 2025-26: 5th Year

A proven winner at every level, Coach Rick Davis has elevated the Campbellsville University Men’s Golf program into a consistent national contender, guiding the Tigers to a top-30 national finish in each of the last three seasons. His tenure is highlighted by the 2022-23 season, in which he engineered a dramatic final-day comeback to capture the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship and secure a berth in the NAIA National Championship. That victory was made even more memorable as Kobe Hill also claimed the individual conference title under Davis's guidance.

Davis's success at Campbellsville is built upon a decorated career at Green County High School, where he established a girls' golf dynasty. Over 15 years, he led the Lady Dragons to two KHSAA State Championships (2009, 2010), three All A Classic titles, and was twice named the KHSAA Girls Golf Coach of the Year. His leadership was further recognized with seven Region 4 Coach of the Year awards.

His commitment to the sport extends beyond the fairway, having served as the Kentucky Region 4 Girls Golf Director and on the KHSAA Golf Coaches Association Board of Directors for a decade. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Davis also holds a master's degree from Campbellsville University, with both degrees emphasizing Health and Physical Education.
