Former CU men's tennis player Eduardo Mendoza will be entering his second season as the men's tennis Graduate Assistant under head coach Kyle Caven. Mendonza was on the Tiger men's tennis team from the 2013-14 season to the 2015-16 season.
Mendonza helped Caven lead the men's tennis program to their second-straight NCCAA National Championship when CU defeated Ottawa University Arizona on May 9, 2019. Campbellsville followed up with an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament as an At-Large selection but lost in the opening round to Arizona Christian University.
During his playing days, Mendoza was a depth player in the CU lineup, playing his most matches during his senior season, mainly from the fifth or sixth singles position and the second or third doubles position.
