Philip Littlejohn was hired as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2018.
A Union Spring, N.Y. native, Littlejohn comes to Campbellsville after working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, Calif. While working with the NCAA DII program, he covered men’s soccer, baseball and wrestling and helped care for all 11 intercollegiate teams.
Before his time as a graduate assistant, Littlejohn earned his degree from Waynesburg University, an NCAA Division III program in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. While there, he worked as a student athletic trainer and covered softball men’s basketball, football and men’s soccer.
In addition, he spent time as a student strength and condition leader, worked with Carmichals High School football and assisted in implanting rehab programs for injuries and post-surgical conditions.
In the summer of 2014, Littlejohn worked with the Rochester Rhinos – a professional soccer team in Rochester, N.Y. While there, he assisted the athletic trainer in evaluation and treatments.
Littlejohn earned a Masters of Arts in Kinesiology in May 2018 and CAATE Accredited Athletic Training degree from Waynesburg in Decemeber 2015.
