Chris Kidwell enters his 4th season as head coach of the Campbellsville University Lady Tigers.
Kidwell, a Campbellsville native and graduate of Campbellsville High School (1989) and Campbellsville University (1993), played offensive special teams and wide receiver for the Fighting Tigers from 1989-1992. Kidwell also earned his Master's Degree at Western Kentucky University in 2005. Furthermore, he was a member of the first Campbellsville football victory as well as the first Mid-South Championship in school history. Kidwell's first coaching job was with Adair County High School and then traveled to Europe to play and coach for the Herlev Rebels in Denmark in 1994.
After returning home to complete his student teaching, Kidwell coached wide receivers and special teams as a graduate assistant for the Tigers for one season. He then taught and coached football at Campbellsville High School for 10 years. Kidwell has served in several administrative positions in the Campbellsville School District including middle school principal, finance director, and associate superintendent for the past 18 years. In addition to coaching football, he helped start the Eagle Archery program and served as head coach at both the middle school and high school.
Campbellsville secured their first winning season in program history in the 2025 season with an overall record of 10-8.
