Entering 2025-26: 10th year; 2nd as Head Coach

Jacob Murton enters his second season as head coach of the Campbellsville men's wrestling program after serving eight years as an assistant.

In 2024-25, his first season as the head coach, Murton had three NAIA All-Americans in Shad Slone, Nik Yancey, and Izaeah Beavers. Slone was named the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Year. 

At Campbellsville, Murton has coached 24 NAIA All-Americans. During his first year on staff, he helped coach Chuck Sharon to an individual NAIA National Championship at 184 pounds.
