High School: Taylor attended Margaretta High School in Sandusky, Ohio where he was a two time sectional and district champion along with placing 6th in state his junior year and 4th his senior year, he managed a career record of 162-44.

Personal: Taylor is majoring in Nursing; he is the son of Marlene and Shawn Taylor.
