Collin assists Zak Wilson and is in charge of running all the home streams for football, men's soccer, women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, swimming, men's wrestling, women's wrestling, men's volleyball, baseball, and softball.
Sheffield helps teach students hands on experience inside the control room as well as running a camera. Students are able to learn how to run a broadcast that includes replay, graphics, switching cameras, when to show shots, and how to prepare for upcoming shots.
With multiple home sports can that can go on at the same time, both Sheffield and Wilson can be at two different locations making sure that Tiger fans are close to the action on the stream.
In college, Sheffield was a member of the cross country and track and field team. Sheffield made an NAIA appearance in the 2021 season at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships. He was named Second Team All-Conference during the 2020 and 2021 season. During the 2022 track season he earned NCCAA All-American honors.
Collin was strong in the classroom earning Academic All-Conference honors in both cross country and track. He also earned NCCAA Scholar Athlete honors during the 2021 cross country season as well as the 2022 track and field season.
Collin is married to Abigail Sheffield and lives in Campbellsville.
