KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four Lady Tiger basketball players have been honored by the NAIA for their performance in the classroom.
Madison Clements, Emily Fox, LeeAnn Grider and Kristen Jacob have been named Division I Women's Basketball 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 111-player list on Monday, March 21.
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.Â
Clements, Clementsville, Tenn.; Fox, McKinney, Ky.; and Grider, Jamestown, Ky., are all juniors. Jacob, Lexington, Ky., is a senior.
