KANSAS CITY, Mo. – John Chewning,
Cruise Coulter and
Justin Ramos represented the Campbellsville football team on the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list, the national office announced on Friday morning.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status
Ramos earns the national honor for the second-straight season, while Chewning and Coulter are both named scholar-athletes for the first time in their careers.
A total of 379 football student-athlete across the NAIA earned the recognition with Taylor University leading the way with 17 honorees.
