GREENVILLE, S.C. – Coming off of a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat in the semifinals of the NCCAA National Championship, NCCAA officials announced that six members of the Campbellsville University men's soccer team were named to their three All-American teams.
 
Led by first team selections of Maximilian Kohlfuerst and Marc Lawrence CU also had Owen StottConnor GrantTom Edge, and Gustav Oskarsson receive All-America honors. Stott, Grant, and Edge earned second-team selections with Oskarsson earning the lone third-team spot of any Tiger player.
 
Lawrence was the team's leading goal scorer on the season finishing with eight goals as he also tied for the team lead in total points with 21 points with those eight goals and five assists. Lawrence scored two game-winning goals on the season while taking a team-high 54 shots with 26 shots on goal throughout the 2019 season.
 
Kohlfuerst and Grant locked down the central defense for the Tigers throughout the season as Kholfuerst played and started in 20 of the 22 games with Grant doing so in 21 games during the 22-game season. Kohlfuerst was more of the lockdown defender, only recording a single shot all season as Grant was more of an offensive option with three goals and three assists on the year as a big target on set pieces and corner kicks.
 
Stott was strong in net for CU during his sophomore season, finishing with a 12-5-1 record in 21 starts this season, making 60 saves and allowing 17 goals for a save percentage of .779 and a 0.81 goals against average with nine shutouts. Stott also earned three Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors as well as an NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week award this season.
 
Edge found himself on the scoresheet quite often for Campbellsville finishing with four goals and five assists for 13 points on the season. The junior midfielder played and started in 19 games, recording 52 shots and 21 shots on goal.
 
Oskarsson was strong up front for the Tigers in both a starting and reserve role playing in all 22 games with 16 starts this season. He was fourth on the team in goals scored with five goals on the season and finished with 13 total points on the year with three assists as well.
 
Campbellsville finished with a 14-7-1 after a semifinal appearance in the NCCAA National Championship and an NAIA Opening Round appearance for the first time since 2016.
