For the second time this season and of her career, Campbellsville's
Jessie Pendleton earned Mid-South Conference Defender of the Week honors.
Officials announced the award after Pendleton led the Lady Tigers to a 2-3 record last week.
In those five matches, Pendleton racked up 119 digs. Against St. Xavier in the final match of the week, she recorded a week-high 32 digs while chipping in with three assists and two service aces.
On the week, Pendleton averaged 5.67 digs per set. On the season she ranks No. 3 in the NAIA with 397 digs and No. 22 by averaging 5.59 digs per set.
In addition, University of the Cumberlands' Jennifer Philpot was named the MSC Attacker of the Week, while Georgetown College's Sarah Bell earned Setter of the Week honors.
Campbellsville (12-6) returns to Powell Athletic Center on Tuesday night, as it hosts University of the Cumberlands at 7 p.m. ET. The JV team will start the doubleheader at 5 p.m. Live video and stats will be provided for the varsity match.
