CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — For the first time in his career, Indalecio Romo was named the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week, officials announced on Monday.
 
Romo, a senior from Ures, Mexico, threw a complete-game shutout against No. 20 Cumberlands on the road to help Campbellsville win the MSC regular season title.
 
He allowed only four hits in the second game of the series and struck out three batters. The victory was his third win, as he improved to 3-1.
 
Campbellsville won the MSC regular season title with a 13-5 record and is currently 29-16 overall.
 
The Tigers are scheduled to host Midway University this week with a time to be determined on on Wednesday, April 26.
