CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville's
Brett Hamilton earned Mid-South Conference Baseball Player of the Week, officials announced on Monday.
Hamilton, a senior from Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., earns his first-career weekly honor.
Hamilton averaged .625 at the plate for Campbellsville this week and had a slugging percentage of 1.625 as the Tigers went 2-1.
He finished the week with six runs batted in, two runs scored, a double, two triples and a home run.
In a 4-3 loss to Indiana Southeast, Hamilton went 3-for-4 at the plate scoring twice and hitting his lone home run of the week, while also recording a triple and a pair of RBIs.
Campbellsville heads to MSC Baseball Tournament with a record of 31-17 overall. The Tigers will play University of Pikeville on Friday at 2 p.m. ET in Bowling Green.
